NICOLA Sturgeon and Douglas Ross will today put aside political differences to visit an addictions group in a bid to tackle Scotland's drug toll crisis.
They will meet at the Bluevale Community Club in Haghill, Glasgow, to discuss the drugs death emergency.
The First Minister will confirm £100,000 of funding for the organisation.
More than 1300 people died of drug misuse last year in Scotland - the worst rate of any country in Europe.
The Record has led a campaign demanding radical changes to cut the death toll, including decriminalisation.
