A FAMILY’S home was targeted in a terrifying shooting in the early hours of the morning.
The firearm was discharged at a house in Craigneuk, near Motherwell, at 1.40am on Monday.
It is believed a bullet was was found lodged in the living room wall at the house in Meadowside Road.
No one was injured in the shooting but it is believed the family who live there were in bed at the time.
Neighbour Margaret Fernon, 73, said: “I got up and saw the street was taped off.
“It’s lucky they were in their beds.
