Strikes back on in climate change battle

DOZENS of young people marched through Glasgow yesterday to demand urgent action on climate change.

There were similar marches around the world as climate strikes made famous by Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, returned under the banner name “Fridays for Future”.

In Glasgow, several dozen walked from Kelvingrove Park to George Square, while other marches were held in Edinburgh, Stirling and Ullapool.
