SERIAL killer Peter Tobin has stunned fellow cons by surviving cancer – and has been scoffing mince and tatties to put weight on.
Just months ago the 72-yearold was confined to his cell and barely eating, prison insiders said.
But this week, the murderer has been tucking into savoury mince and apple pie under orders from doctors.
Prison insiders say his favourite food is yoghurt, which he has every day along with his painkillers.
The greedy killer also gulps down pints of full-fat milk on a daily basis.
A source said: “He eats better food than a lot of people. There’s families struggling and he’s getting three full meals a day plus snacks.
“At Christmas he was at death’s door but he’s continuing to survive. He does take a lot of medication but ever yone expected him to be dead by now.
“He’s not been fussed by the virus either. He is in his cell alone and contact is minimal.”
