School drama Waterloo Road is being rebooted by the BBC seven years after it was axed – but it won’t be returning to Greenock.
The show, which launched in 2006 as a modern-day Grange Hill and ran until 2015, will be one of two long-running dramas to replace Holby City, which is ending after 23 years.
