ROSS GRAHAM reckons qualifying for Europe would cap a remarkable five months for the Dundee United star.

The big defender only broke into the United first team in January after a disappointing loan spell at Dunfermline.

Since then he has pretty much nailed down a starting slot, helped United into the top six, won Scotland Under-21 recognition and been shortlisted for the Football Writers' Association's young player of the year award.

Now the United fan is hoping to finish on a high by ensuring his team finish in the top five and qualify for the Europa Conference League.

Graham, 21, said: "I was delighted to be nominated for the award, it's been a good four months so it's nice people are noticing it.

"I heard at the same time as everyone else, I saw it on Twitter and was buzzing.
