AN ELDERLY victim of a violent robbery that left her husband fighting for his life has slammed the “insulting” five-year jail sentence given to one of the thugs involved.
Astrid McKie, 78, said Liam Scott, 26, should have been locked up for at least eight years for the attack that ruined her life.
