Keir Starmer has enraged Labour's left by extending an open invite for more Tory MPs to join defector Christian Wakeford.

The Bury South MP crossed the Commons floor to Labour in the latest blow to PM Boris Johnson. Labour leader Starmer said: I am sure there's a lot of soul searching. If there is another one who chooses to cross the floor, I will greet them with open arms myself, and I'm sure we'll have a pint and chat.
