Hospital apologises over handling of patient death

HOSPITAL chiefs have apologised to the family of a patient who died after potentially swallowing washing-up liquid.

NHS Forth Valley was forced to say sorry after the patient's child complained to the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO).
