SERIAL killer Peter Tobin’s ex-wife has told how she was in his Scottish home at the same time he was hiding the body of teenager Vicky Hamilton who he murdered just days before.

Cathy Wilson, Tobin’s third wife, had walked out on the monster after suffering repeated abuse during their marriage when he abducted their young son and fled to Scotland.

Desperate to get her son back, Cathy, then a teenager herself, was awarded sole custody in an emergency court hearing. But it only applied down south so she hatched a plan to convince Tobin they could get back together if he moved to England.

The murderer is serving three life sentences for killing three young women between 1991 and 2006.

In 1990, Cathy left Tobin but encouraged him to continue seeing their son Daniel as she was keen for both parents to be involved in his life.

She said: “I told him there was no chance of us getting back together but we would have conversations about childcare and I would bring Daniel out with us and the three of us would go out together, so that’s what we did.
