Diggers yesterday started pulling down houses damaged by the blast in Kincaidston, Ayr.
One home was destroyed by the explosion at 7.10pm on Monday.
The clean-up continued in the estate for the third day after the explosion wiped out the home of a family of four who are still battling serious injuries in three hospitals.
