Waris Ali’s wife Edina Olahova, 29, and nine-year-old son Rana Haris Ali died along with close family friend Muhammad Asim Riaz, 41, in the tragedy at Pulpit Rock near Ardlui.

The group had stopped at the beauty spot on the way home to Glasgow following a trip to Skye.
Muhammad’s son plunged from a sandy ridge into a deep swell after he had gone paddling with Rana.
Waris described how his son ran into the water to save his friend despite the fact he couldn’t swim as the group tried desperately to rescue both boys.
