FRASER HORNBY insists Scotland’s kids are masters of their own fate after taking control of their qualifying group for the Euros.

The Stade de Reims striker was on target during last Friday’s 2-0 win over the Czech Republic which carried Scot Gemmill’s side within a point of the Group Four summit with a game in hand.

An away clash with minnow s San Marino tomorrow should bank another victory which would leave games against Croatia and Greece next month as the last hurdles in the bid to clinch a final place in Hungary and Slovenia for next year.

But Hornby admits the ambition for the nation is to make it a double celebration with Stevie Clarke’s senior squad also within touching distance of a long-awaited Euro Finals appearance.

He said: “Everyone in Scotland wants any of the national teams to be a part of the big tournaments.

“That’s what everyone looks forward to. Hopefully the seniors can do that and we can do the same.

“Going into the start of any campaign, the goal is to reach the full competition. We’re in a good position.
