POLICE LAUNCH MURDER PROBE
A MURDER inquiry was underway last night after a man died following an alleged stabbing outside a shopping centre.
The 27-year-old, named locally as James "Chucky” Ross, was believed to have been involved in a "disturbance” near Abronhill Shopping Centre, in Cumbernauld, at about 4.40pm on Monday.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at a residential property in nearby Larch Court.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the death.
