TREASURE CHESS

RORY MCILROY laughed when asked if, at the age of 32, he now felt like a middle-aged golfer.

But as he once again goes in search of completing the career Grand Slam, the fourtime Major winner aims to rein in his natural attacking instincts and plot his way around Augusta like a game of chess – and like an older man.

“I may have got a few more grey hairs than I used to, but I'm still young at heart," he insisted." But with those grey hairs come knowledge,

experience and a little bit of scar tissue as he tees up at his 14th Masters - and his eighth attempt to add a Green Jacket to an Open triumph, two US PGAs and a US Open.

The Northern Irishman should have won his first Major here in 2011 when he

blazed his way to a four-shot lead after 54 holes before a final-round collapse.
