Schoolgirl's message in bottle found in Norway after 25 years
Daily Mirror|January 28, 2022
A MESSAGE in a bottle sent by a primary school pupil has been found washed up in Norway, 25 years after it was sent out to sea.

Joanna Buchan, 34, was eight when she wrote the message in 1996 for a school project.

It was dropped from a fishing boat off Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

She was stunned to discover the Sprite bottle had been found 800 miles away at Gasvaer. Her note describes her pet dog, school projects and love of Blu Tack.

Elena Andreassen Haga found the bottle in July 2020 and tracked down Joanna on Facebook.

Looking Up

When you are an ant, the stakes are always high. There are those who would eat you—birds, snakes, bigger bugs—and those who could trample you and your environment in a single sneakered step. These enormous beings may not mean you any harm, but it is impact, not intention, that matters most.
