High Court hears footballer Wayne was not told about wife’s Insta trap

COLEEN Rooney kept her husband in the dark over her Wagatha Christie plot to ensnare a fellow WAG, the High Court heard yesterday.

Her lawyer David Sherborne said she did not tell former England star Wayne of her months-long secret sting.

Mrs Rooney, 35, claimed fellow footballer’s wife Rebekah Vardy, 39, shared fake stories she had posted on her personal Instagram account with The Sun newspaper.

Mr Sherborne said: “Nobody knew that there were fake posts. No one else was told, not even her husband, Mr Rooney.”
