Retired Couple's Touching Reunion

A Couple married for 61 years get to cuddle for the first time in eight months after moving into the same care home.

Lewis Tunnicliffe, 84, decided to join wife Barbara, 81, as a resident at the facility after a bout of ill health.

They had never spent longer than a few days apart before Barbara was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and moved into Bradwell Hall care home in July.

Since then, retired car dealer Lewis had only been able to visit the ex-nurse once a week and had to stay behind a glass screen due to Covid restrictions.
