MADELEINE McCann’s parents yesterday vowed to carry on searching for their daughter with “hope, energy and determination”.
Kate and Gerry McCann, both 52, made their comments in a New Year’s Day post on their official website.
They say the pandemic has slowed down the investigation into Maddie’s disappearance.
Last year German Christian Brueckner was named as a prime suspect in the case.
The McCanns also revealed how they both lost parents during 2020.
