Unite leader’s plea to Starmer

KEIR Starmer must “give people hope” and make sure they know Labour is fighting for them, Unite’s leader says.

Sharon Graham also called on him to ditch his “strange” last-minute bid to shake-up Labour’s internal rules.

Ms Graham urged Mr Starmer to shelve party reform as she warned that Britain is facing another period of severe austerity under the Tories.

She also revealed she will miss the Labour Party conference in Brighton to be on the picket line fighting fire and rehire practices.
