A Mother who was told her toddler daughter would never be able to walk has spoken of her joy after seeing the youngster take her first steps.

Emotional Laura Dearden said 18-month old Savannah “defied the odds” after developing a rare brain disorder, adding: “For such a little delicate thing, she’s a warrior.”
