Sting still sad over collapse of Police

STING has told how the breakup of The Police 35 years ago still leaves him saddened.

And the singer said the egos of himself and bandmates Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers sparked the split in the early 80s, while they were at their peak.

He revealed he had become "benign dictator" in the group.
