UKRAINE government websites were hit by a shocking cyber attack yesterday with officials warned: "Be afraid and expect the worst."

The crippling hack slapped messages in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian on official Kiev sites as Russian troops carried out snap drills near the border.

Last night, Ukraine's top security official Oleksiy Danilov blamed Russia for the attack.
