AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS

HOSTS Cameroon emphatically beat Ethiopia 4-1 to ease it into the next stage of the Africa Cup of Nations with successive victories.

Captain Vincent Aboubakar and Karl Toko Ekambi each scored twice as the Indomitable Lions turned in a strong second-half performance, after their opening game win over Burkina Faso.

Ekambi said: "We were mentally ready for this game. This is a big boost for the tournament and we hope we have more spectators for our next game."
