FRIENDS of a couple killed in an alleged feud over parking spoke of the “kind” victims, as police quizzed a male suspect further yesterday.
The murders in a quiet village happened while the pair's young sons slept upstairs.
Teacher Stephen Chapple, 36, and his wife Jennifer, 33, were found dead at their home on Sunday night.
Jennifer died from stab wounds, police said yesterday. A post-mortem due to be carried out her husband.
Their children, aged five and six, were found unharmed but distressed.
A man aged 34, and his father, 67, were arrested on suspicion of murder. The older man was yesterday released under investigation.
Residents believe there was a dispute over parking on Dragon Rise in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset.
