The McFly star and his partner Amy Dowden have both tested positive and will have to isolate separately for 10 days.
They are due to return to perform the following week.
The BBC said last night: “Tom and Amy have tested positive for Covid-19. The pair are self-isolating separately following the latest Government guidelines.
“While they will miss Saturday’s live show, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that, all being well, they will return the following week.”
