The Prime Minister urged his team to “put all our energies” into ensuring the country is fully vaccinated to see off a resurgence in the disease.
He admitted the country faced a “difficult winter” and called on the public to “get their jabs” when they were contacted.
But, at a meeting held in London’s Science Museum, he said the measures the Government has put in place will “steer the country through this period”.
