Tributes have been paid to a “beautiful, kind and much-loved” teenager who died after a suspected hit-and-run while walking to school.
Mia Strothers was crossing the road on Monday morning when she was struck by a BMW which left the scene.
The 14-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident near her home in Moston, Manchester, but died yesterday morning.
A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with Mia’s death and appeared in court yesterday.
