Up to 23 million people including the clinically vulnerable and NHS and care home staff are expected to be offered third vaccinations, rolled out in two stages.
It was reported yesterday that all patients would be offered the Pfizer jab, which has proved to be the most effective against Covid’s Delta variant.
The booster plan, first announced in June, will first vaccinate over-70s, vulnerable people, care home residents and frontline NHS and care staff.
Over-50s and those entitled to a free flu jab would be next in line.
