It is among plans revealed yesterday for a memorial park for the Forces’ Sweetheart.
Located over the white cliffs of Dover immortalised in her song, it will be home to a 3,500-capacity arts venue with panoramic views over the port and English Channel.
It will also feature a statue of the singer, who died aged 103 in June last year, by sculptor Paul Day.
The memorial’s masterminds said: “It is to be an expression of gratitude from the nation to a lady whose musical talent touched the lives of millions over nine decades.
