Boss Neil Smith praised his players especially for the way they frustrated their hosts.
“It is a pleasure with these lads because they give you everything they have,” the Bromley manager said. “Sometimes we haven’t got the results we think we’ve deserved but they stick with it and play for each other and they believe in themselves. I think that showed tonight.
“We had a game plan to come here and stifle them because they are a good passing time and then when we get the chance we took it. I thought defensively we were very strong as well.
