Dave Challinor’s side dominated throughout, but somehow had only Luke Armstrong’s first-half finish to show for their efforts.
They have scored 18 in this home run, conceding only three.
Challinor said: “It’s about converting situations and getting more. Luke is one we can rely on and he gets in the right areas, but it becomes the responsibility of others to score too.
“The worry would be if we weren’t getting in those chances. We have a big week on the road to come. For us our performances away from home aren’t a lot different to home it’s just been on the wrong side of results. It’s that clinical nature of scoring.
“We are four points off Torquay with a game in hand and we are in a good position.”
