Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, laid down the vision for Tamil Nadu and underlined the need for governments to transform and swiftly adopt technology to keep pace with the rapid and swift changes in technology. During the Budget session 20212022, an announcement for framing of Data Center Policy with a vision to develop Tamil Nadu as the numero uno destination for Data Centres by catering to all the specific requirements of Data Centres and providing them with an attractive business environment was made. As per the announcement Tamil Nadu Data Centre Policy 2021 was framed and brought into action on 23.11.2021. The objective of this policy is to promote Tamil Nadu as an ideal Data Centre investment destination. This policy was released by Honourable Chief Minister on 26.11.2021.
