Heritage Foods Limited, a leading player in the dairy Industry in India, launched its new premium range of ice creams under the brand name Heritage “ALPENVIE”.
In developing the new Heritage ‘Alpenvie’ range, an effort was made to understand into the lives of its target group of college goers & young adults. This new range of ice creams delivers offerings which celebrate “ Little moments of Happiness” at an affordable price. The premium ice cream range consists of out-of-home impulse products made with the finest ingredients which meet global standards from price points of Rs.10 -45 with the majority of the products in the segment of Rs.10 -25
The company plans to invest Rs. 80 crore on these products in the next four years. Initially these products are available in key metros in South and West and eventually will expand nationally.
Brahmani Nara, Executive Director, Heritage Foods said,“Our newest addition - a premium ice cream ‘Heritage Alpenvie’ speaks to young minds and celebrates everyday moments of happiness. A wide range of delicious treats made with the finest milk cream, fruits, nuts and chocolates is developed. On the business front, we expect our brand to grow to about 50,000 litres per day (Rs. 230 cr per annum) in the next four years contributing to our Rs. 6000 crore revenue mission by 2022. Value added products will contribute 40% of our revenue.”
