Virat Kohli recently stepped down from India's T20I captaincy duties, leaving his fans and followers downhearted. Kohli is not just any other player; in my words, he is an enigma! The man epitomised the new India's aggressive attitude and made things happen rather than waiting for things to happen. He was a natural choice to lead the Indian team after the talismanic MS Dhoni stepped down. Contrary to his predecessor's calm and composed nature, Virat Kohli had a vibrant and aggressive character. He wore his heart on his sleeves and went out on the field with an intent to win every time.

As a captain and arguably one of the best batter in the team, if not the world, he introduced a new mantra to lead from the front. Whether it was about facing the best bowling attack globally or maintaining an extremely rigid fitness level- something not thought about in the Indian team earlier. His attitude was contagious, as is reflected in the attitude of every player on the team. Instead of surrendering meekly, the Virat Kohliled team stiffed the opposition while playing in foreign conditions.
