The Ministry of External Affairs has consistently dismissed every time Trump has raised Kashmir, yet he has gone on to offer to mediate on the issue, causing consternation in New Delhi and Washington.
Speaking on Trump’s repeated mediation offer, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar Thursday said: “Our position on the Kashmir issue and third party mediation has been very clear and consistent. Let me reiterate that there is no role for any third party in this matter.”
