Eight years ago, when merchant navy officer, Varun Sharma, 42, moved to Secunderabad from Dehradun, he had a tough time looking for a nice yet affordable cafe serving delicious food and great coffee. And that is how he came up with the idea of opening a restaurant and named it The Coffee Cup. The name, however, is rather deceptive as the charming restaurant offers much more than coffee. This is where you can enjoy an evening of exquisite live music or standup comedy, besides an interestingly rare book you might find in their eclectic collection.
