HOW IS THAILAND TREATING YOU?
“It’s been amazing. In total, we booked 40 days in the studio out here. We didn’t do much research into the place itself or the area or anything. We just had a feeling about it and I’m really glad that we trusted in it. We are in a town called Krabi, the studio is so beautiful, and the people who own it have all been so kind to us. Walking in on the first day we felt like it was like a little nurturing womb. I’ve definitely felt a safety and a really comfortable vibe here.”
HOW HAVE THE SESSIONS BEEN GOING?
“We are recording this album differently than we have before. We are recording song by song rather than chunks of instruments and everybody just sitting around waiting. It’s really nice, because in the same day everybody gets to record and it keeps everybody inspired. It means we can rest in-between songs and sessions and actually enjoy being here. It’s been a lot healthier for our minds and bodies. It’s funny that we’ve never done it this way before.”
