How we see ourselves are different to how others do. How would your friends describe you?

My friends would likely be honest about my strengths and weaknesses; I’m fairly self-aware (and often pretty self-critical) of what these are. They’d say that because I often speak professorially (I come from an academic family and was raised learning complicated, precise language) I can come across as arrogant or “nerdy.” They’d also say that I’m generous of both time and spirit, often to a fault. I just don’t throw people away. They know I’m quite careful about whom I surround myself with, and again, that can appear elitist…but those who love me know that for me, it’s simply about my refusal to spend time on things that aren’t part of an effort to have a hopefully-great life.

You are a qualified commercial pilot. Is this something you always aspired to?

Yes; my grandfather was a pilot, the world told me women don’t become pilots, and for those two reasons I decided to fly. I always wanted to see the world, I absolutely love challenges and the rewards of learning new things, my office view is absolutely breathtaking, and it helped me develop leadership skills (something I’ve always sorely lacked).

Your sexiest feature.

Gosh, you’d have to ask those who find anything about me sexy…I’m not sure. I have a pretty great figure, most people say, and my light blue eyes are striking against my dark brown hair. Is not my ability to eat an entire pizza and fall into a food coma on the couch sexy, guys? Guess not, haha.

What do you find irresistible in your partner?
