Weed Warrior - Transforming The Impossible Into The Inevitable

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an idealist. Even as a child, I thought anything was possible. Case in point: After my parents split up when I was in kindergarten, I always believed they’d get back together—or, at the very least, forgive each other. They never did.

At age 15, I got bit by two bugs at once: theater and cannabis. I was convinced I’d not only become the next Jack Nicholson but would also legalize weed along the way. Throughout college and graduate school I worked hard at both.

From the start, I was told legalizing weed would be, by far, the more difficult of these dreams. Impossible was the word used by my parents, professors, peers, and society as a whole. Yet as it happens, it was the dream of becoming a movie star that eluded me, despite a lot of hard work and effort, and not my efforts to end cannabis prohibition.
