The world of professional wrestling has always been filled with colorful over the top characters, and none more so than the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon. Yet this story is not about the man that turned wrestling into what it is today, but rather the man that will take the company and sports entertainment into the future, Triple H, also known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, real name Paul Michael Levesque.
Time To Play The Game

THE YOUNG BODYBUILDER

Born on the 27th of July, 1969 in Nashua, New Hampshire, to parents Paul Levesque Snr. and Patricia Levesque, the boy who would become known as the cerebral assassin lived a standard life. He excelled at basketball and baseball in high school, but it was bodybuilding that truly grabbed Paul’s attention from an early age. As a teen, Paul would enter bodybuilding competitions, performing well in many, but the highlight for the young Paul was winning the Teenage Mr. New Hampshire bodybuilding competition. After high school the young Levesque decided to pursue a career in bodybuilding and made the decision to find employment at Gold’s Gym, not only will he get paid, but he will have ample time to focus on his bodybuilding passion. It was during this stint at Gold’s Gym that he met former pro wrestler Killer Kowalski. Growing up Paul used to love watching pro wrestling with his dad, so befriending a former pro like Kowalski was a big highlight. Combining his already impressive physique with the training from Kowalksi, Paul adapted to the wrestling game rather quickly and it would not be long before he made his debut inside the square circle for the IWF in 1992. After two years of wrestling school halls and minor events as Terra Ryzing, Paul got the call to the major leagues.
