ART OF MOTION

Normally Aspirated V8s are a very rare sight nowadays. An engineering fossil that still evokes emotion like almost nothing else. Sadly they've been pushed out the back door in favor of smaller, cleaner engines that rely on turbocharging to fill the void in capacity. But before this turns into a forlorn monologue that nobody wants to hear, let's turn our attention to one of only a handful of 5.0-liter V8s left, the Lexus LC500.

Jaw-dropping beauty doesn't even begin to describe the LC500 which has been given the most discreet treatment along with a convertible option to refresh its appearance and market appeal. It's still in a unique category of cars; a blend between GT and sportscar filled with enormous amounts of luxury and everyday practicality. It's Lexus at its very best, a blazing comet of a car that tears the rulebook to shreds and illuminates the rest of the Lexus family which is becoming increasingly more orientated towards hybrid SUVs.
