Although very little was shown last year of the highly anticipated God of War sequel, just the knowledge that it is coming out later this year has got everyone excited and looks to be the title that might even convince the most hardcore Xbox fan to look into getting a PS5. The 2018 God of War was a complete re-imagining of the God of War series and brought a more somber, older Kratos into the deep folklore rich environments of Norse Mythology. The grizzled greek god slayer was now a father and the game explored the relationship between Kratos and “the boy”. Of course, the ending to the 2018 game made everyone clamor for a sequel as we cannot wait to see where the sequel takes the father/son duo and if their face-off with the god of thunder Thor will materialize.

Halo Infinite
The flagship shooter that turned the original Xbox into a powerhouse and led the way for first-person shooters as we know it today. Halo Infinite was initially announced as an Xbox Series X/S launch title, but intense fan and critic backlash to the gameplay reveal in mid-2020 saw developers 343 Industries move the launch date to later in 2021 to rework the famous shooter. Delays in gaming are generally frowned upon, Halo is such an important franchise for the Xbox that fans will gladly wait a year or two more to get the best Halo experience on their new generation consoles. We hope and expect to be blown away the next time we see a reveal of Halo Infinite and can’t wait to step back into the series icon, Master Chief’s shoes once again.
