When stepping harder on the accelerator, it roars!

Volkswagen Golf Variant R-line

Driving this car around is really a breeze. It sports a full panoramic sun-roof which makes the car so much airier, and not forgetting it is a station-wagon, hence lots of space within the car. Going on a 1.4L TSI petrol engine with 16 valves, turbocharger, this Golf Variant is able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The entire drive is very smooth and at the picking up of the initial speed it does not lag at all.

The R-Line tag on the front grille definitely makes the car looks sportier. And in fact, all the Golf Variant comes in R-Line version in Singapore market. It’s just a tag, but it does make a difference to the overall feel! The R-Line exterior styling package includes sporty R- Line bumpers, a dedicated radiator grille, side sill extensions, a roof edge spoiler, a black gloss diffuser and 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/40 R18 tyres.

The rims are very unique. Havin’ the style of its own to the car with the two-tone silver and black. Love it! A clear view of where you’re heading at all times – the Golf Variant has bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights as standard. Not only do they look good, they are also extremely bright and efficient. The dynamic cornering lights follow the line of bends, allowing you to spot any obstacles ahead sooner.
