WITH ITS SWEEPING, SCULPTED AND SVELTEBODY, THIS MASTERPIECE HAS RAISED THE STAKES MANIFOLD. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT INDIA, TOO, IS ON MASERATI'S RADAR

THE legacy of Italian families who have invested their lives in creating some of the most hallmark machines to roam the Earth will always stand. Borne in the common womb of automotive excellence, Maserati has governed the fantasies of racing enthusiasts for a better portion of the last century and found its way into the echelons of luxury and performance in recent decades. From there, it commands a position of respect, with each new rendition that rolls in.

All Maserati cars are named after the impactful winds and the Maserati Ghibli is no exception. After debuting at the 1966 Turin Motor Show, it has come a long way and has finally beached on Indian shores. What’s really exciting is that it brings the top-of-the-line Trofeo model as well.

MASERATI is known to have normalised 4-door sedans. That’s commonplace. However, the front grille and the tail-lights have received a few noticeable touches. The LED headlamps sport adaptive Matrix lights offering the driver a 200 per cent greater field of vision as compared to conventional headlamps. The presence of blue accents across the body makes it quite distinct from its cousins. You find it on the front fenders, brake calipers, and the emblem on the C-pillar. And this pattern is carried forward inside the car as well.
