HONDA RC213V-S
THE HONDA RC213V-S is often considered the most hardcore, track-biased road bike ever made. The motorcycle was released in 2015 as a limited-production street-legal MotoGP replica. Honda claims that the RC213V-S shares as much as 80 per cent of its parts with the MotoGP bike raced by Marc Márquez during that period. In fact, Marquez himself trained on an RC213V-S to prepare for a return to MotoGP post-injury. The motorcycle is powered by a MotoGP-derived 90-degree V4 engine which produces more than 215hp with the optional sports kit. The design of the bike also closely resembles the RC213V race bike, except for the lights and a few more components to make it street legal. Only 213 examples of the Honda RC213V-S were ever sold, making it one of the rarest production motorcycles. Last year, one of the examples created a new sale record by fetching more than a quarter-million dollars at an auction.
