JUNGLE safaris always assume the anticipation of thrill and adventure. One such recent experience we had was at Reni Pani Jungle Lodge, part of the Jehan Numa Collection, nestled in the Satpura National Park in Hoshangabad near Bhopal. For nature lovers like us, this jungle lodge is an ideal getaway as it combines a real forest environment in addition to areas of agricultural land in the neighbourhood. We could spot an abundance of reni trees with an eerie appearance (Reni is a type of berry after which the lodge and village get their name).
The fascinating thing is, with limited and spaced-out accommodation, privacy is assured to bask in nature’s lap, since there are only four luxury tents and 12 cottages, with six of them near a seasonal stream, and four in a forest patch and two at the top of the hill. The four luxury tents overlook a water body that attracts a significant amount of wildlife.
