OUR LIVES HAVE COMPLETELY changed since March 2020 and we’re still nowhere close to being back to normal. Just when the covid-19 cases were decreasing during the initial months of 2021, people’s carelessness about following the covid-19 norms has led to the second wave in the country and it seems to be more dangerous than the first one. The number and cases and deaths have surpassed last year’s record. In a situation like this, it is hard to find a hope, a motivation to look up to as we begin our mornings. It is indeed difficult to stick to routine while we’re at home, but it can get worse if we don’t have one.

In the end, no matter what you say, I believe we’re responsible for our own physical and mental health. We are in control of everything and we can change things for ourselves if we really want to. I understand there will be no drum rolls or no one clapping for your progress but you got to be there for yourself. Change isn’t easy but it is important especially during this pandemic. Every little step you make towards progress is still a progress. While you may have no motivation or no will to leave your bed, phones or laptops the entire day, let me tell you why you should still choose to find a way to get your butt moving.
