The Laksamana Trophy Charity Golf Tournament 2017
The stunning Els Club Desaru Coast played host to the 2nd Edition of the Laksamana Trophy Charity Golf Tournament, an exceptional event that brought together 128 avid and prominent corporate partners, sponsors from Johor and Kuala Lumpur as well as members of the community, for a spectacular day of golf, networking, and fundraising. The Laksamana Trophy once again marked a historical moment when His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar officiated, participated and graced the Royal Prize Presentation dinner of the tournament.
The Laksamana Trophy is named after the late Tunku Laksamana of Johor, HH Almarhum Tunku Abdul Jalil Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim, and is fast becoming one of the most prominent charity golf events in the country. The proceeds from the second edition of the Laksamana Trophy Charity Golf Tournament, organised by the Johor Golf Tourism Association (JGTA), benefits the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation.
