Hi everyone, who’s been watching that Supersport 300 class?
I think it’s brilliant, the action has been bonkers, and that’s low power for you. Take away horsepower and it’s just like the old Pro-Am, which we were all brought up on. These new bikes probably make around 50 gee gees, roughly the same as the old 350LCs that were used in it. Although I will say that these kids aren’t grabbing the back of a rival’s seat to pull them back, or reaching over and turning their keys off! You were going so ‘slow’ it never felt as though you could really hurt yourself, so you ended up doing stupid things. It’s just a shame we have no young Brits up the front of it, but it’s early days.
Speaking of Brits, everyone got a bit excited after Cal Crutchlow won in Argentina and was leading the series, we’ve a new Barry Sheene people were saying but, sadly, not quite. On his day he’s fabulous, as he’s showed in the past, but you can’t win titles just being quick. Not crashing in races is the key, and he’s now had two offs in a row since his victory, and crashing has always been what’s been holding him back from a title surge.

It's been a while since KTM last had a 990 Duke in its range, but the name is back - and this new addition is perhaps one of its most exciting offerings ever. Here's why...

I'm fresh back from the South African Classic TT races and Christ, it's still bloody raining over here.
